Today's blog is presented by Accountant: Gioia Pepe (Joy-ya) (Owners Eldest Daughter) Answer: Because we most often take idioms literally. Example: Once in a blue moon. We don't really mean once in a blue moon we really just mean "Rarely."  As a child/teen with High-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder I can answer this. When I speak on this, I am using my voice to represent people with ASD as a whole generalization, but keep in mind that everyone has their own reasons for things and we are all different and unique in our own ways.   Have you ever read Amelia Bedeila as a child?
